Naustaelva is a small salmon river, located on nordfjord at Nordal is salmon live about 1 mil up to kallandsfossen. It empties into the Förde fjord about 13 km west of the Förde.

On Naustaelvas upper stretches, it has good speed on the water with lots of rapids and currents parties, that solves one another. At the bottom is Naustaelva more slow flowing. Above the lower rapids (naustdalfossen), it is rarely fish by mid-June. Average weight of salmon is 3 kg.
