Nybroån belonging to one of our southern rivers, has its source from natural resarvatet at Vomb where the river is called Fyleån. It flows through Fyledalen just southeast of Sjöbo and empties into the sea at Nybrostrand just east of Ystad, about 1 mil from the sea and up the river named Nybroån,
It has works much to create good fishing in the river which has now started to deliver a fine trout fishing.

When fishing in Nybroån, a maximum of two trout per day per fisherman picked up. Minimum length on trout is 50 cm. Circulating fishing applies, Fishing report shall be submitted. Keeping clean up after themselves is a requirement
Desks exist along the fishing beat, if you need to rest your legs, or a little picnic. Fishing is allowed only on the side of the river as the footpath is on. Check the map that comes with fishing license.
